Tony Babino

Tony B's debut album, which featured FIVE songs that were used in movies, TV, and in hit shows.  His original song "50 Years" was a number one requested track on Long Island, NY Radio for several years...and his recording of "I've Got The World On A String" was selected by the estate of composer Harold Arlen, to represent the song in their catalogue.

Tony B's first LIVE album.  Recorded in the famous Copa Room at The Sands in Atlantic City, NJ, it features many covers, as well as Tony B originals, and represents a terrifically fun & high energy performance.  Includes: South Of the Border, Sing Like Sinatra, Mala Femmena, Birth Of The Blues, Sinatra Medley, & Tony's signature show closer Bobby Darin Medley: Up A Lazy River, Beyond The Sea, Splish Splash, Dream Lover, Mack The Knife.

This wonderful Triple CD package was created for sale on the QVC shopping network.  It was accompanied by a LIVE TV performance with an amazing small version of the big band, conducted by Mick Gaffney.  The album contains 37 tracks (44 songs), and the last song, a Tony B original, "I've Got A Love", was featured on the hit ABC TV series, "The Real O'Neals".

(Disc 2 is a studio album that not been released on it's own)

Tony B had the great honor of being included on this incredible compilation CD featuring the music of composer Harold Arlen. Tony's recording of "I've Got the World On A String" is track #1, and is included alongside Tony Bennett, Faith Hill, Natalie Cole, Jane Monheit, & Eric Clapton.

This 3 CD compilation album which was released in Europe, and also North Korea, amazingly contains 12 incredible tracks by Tony B.  It marked the first time Tony had his music released on CD overseas.

"That's Amore" is  multi CD package containing 40 songs, that was released in the U.K. as well as online.  It features all of the legendary Italian Crooners: Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Perry Como, Bobby Darin, Vic Damone, Tony Bennett, Al Martino, and many more.  Tony B was honored and humbled to have his recording of "The Good Life" included alongside all of these legendary singers.

When Billy Joel requested someone to record "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" as a guide for him to record his own track....they called Tony B.  Billy wanted someone to record it in a true"standards style", and so, Tony recorded the track for Billy at Cove City Sound in Roslyn NY, and Billy followed it pretty closely... as can be heard on the album.  Terrific fun.

When "The New York Big Band" leader, Joe Battaglia calls, people listen.  Joe and his band have played, and continue to play every major venue in the tri-state area.  On this album, Tony had the great pleasure of recording two songs, "Time After Time", and "Ain't That A Kick In The Head", both of which were arranged by Richie Iacona.

Via his business associate & dear friend Robert Rosenblatt, Esq., Tony was requested by Director "Harold Ramis", to come into the studio and record "The Little Drummer Boy" for this Focus Features Film.  Initially, Harold only asked for 30-45 seconds of recording.  However, after hearing it LIVE in the booth, he asked Tony to sing the entire track.  The result was that it was used at the very beginning of the movie, and then also included on the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack CD, pictured at left.

What do you say when Sir Paul McCartney's publishing company, MPL Communications, wants to place one of your original songs in a major motion picture?  You say YES, of course.  And so, that's what occurred.  Via his business associate & dear friend Robert Rosenblatt, Esq., Tony's original song and recording of "Swingin' Around" was placed in the Touchstone Films movie "THE CREW", starring Richard Dreyfus & Burt Reynolds.  The song was then also included on the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack CD, pictured at left.

Also featured on the track is legendary sax player Arno Hecht (The Rolling Stones, Dion, James Brown, J Geils).  The second version of the song is a modern pop/rock interpretation by Anthony & Steven, & is filled with mellifluous, catchy vocal choruses, and incredible harmonies.

Arranged by Mick Gaffney, this Christmas classic features, Tony B, Mick Gaffney, Anthony & Steven Babino, and Adam Snyder on Drums. The track was featured in the 2021 premiere episode of the hit STARZ  show "American Gods".  It's a terrific and fun version of a true classic !
